MEET THE PEOPLE WHO CREATED LHC

  • Priscilla Fernandez

    FOUNDER

Priscilla Fernandez is a well-rounded comedian; she performs every genre of comedy plus she has a weight problem.

She’s a Latina-Jew who grew up a pastor’s daughter, so with such a confusing, patriarchal and religious upbringing— who wouldn’t have become a comedian?!

She discovered she had the ability to cut through arguments at home with her comedy like a warm knife through lard. Now, she writes comedy for other comedians, performs wacky character monologues, she won 2nd place at a roast and has performed over a 20 roasts for community leaders.

Priscilla was recently awarded Tucson Weekly’s 2023-2024 Best Comedian.

Today, her humor is described as irreverent, self-deprecating, sacrilegious and absurd YET relatable. She needs a lot of attention from drunk/high strangers, so please go to her shows and fill her deep, dark, empty and gaping hole of validation with your laughter.

Priscilla is also half of the comedy duo Missy’n Prissy where they host/emcee fundraisers, conferences, protests and vegetarian buffets.

By day, she is a certified Death Doula, a Grief Recovery Specialist, Marketing Consultant, Event Planner, and Public Speaker.

Priscilla’s father is a Cuban-Jewish immigrant, and her mother is an Apache-Mexican. They’re both preachers in the Seventh-day Adventist faith, and her father secretly practices Judaism and is a Cantor for a local Temple.

    Comedy chose her.
