What’s with the logo?
The logo was designed with several things in mind. Some like it bc the cactus tongue represents the desert or that women are finally speaking our truth regardless of what is expected of us. And sometimes that truth can sound prickly or un-lady like (wink). Another layer of meaning could be that women can be tough and femme at the same time, and be all the things at once.
Women/LGBTQ+/non-binary folx speaking their comedic truth on a stage is a powerful AND necessary move—and unfortunately threatening to some. We keep truckin’.
